A compounded medicine is a medicine made by a pharmacist for one patient, based on a prescription. It is useful when a standard product does not suit you. For example, you may need a different strength, a cream instead of a tablet, or a version without a certain ingredient.
Compounded medicines are not TGA approved products. Your doctor decides whether one is right for you, and our pharmacists prepare it to strict quality standards.
